My buddy just retired his 80 lb pit catchdog, Goliath. He still hits hard, but he's just not as agile as he used to be....plus he's the little boys best friend and protector. He's got a lot of scars, as he's 11 years old and been a catchdog since his teeth set. He's still in pretty decent shape, and is sound mentally, but just can't get around like he could, and he is getting cut down more often.
He's also got a cur that's sounds a lot like Emily.
I hate when dogs get old.
