What are some of your guys' tactics for baiting hogs?

I dig post holes and fill them with sour corn. Just looking for ideas of what other people use.

Also use the PVC pipe chained to rebar in the ground trick. Not sure either works real well though. I think once you start shooting enough hogs, they get wise to where you're shooting them and just don't come back for a while.

I wish there was a surefire method for drawing them out, that didn't bust the bank.

Drop corn. If they are there theyll find it.

Regular corn works just as well as soured corn, if not better. And no mess

I agree that corn works best.
I've used soured corn before and they seem to get hooked on the smell if you put it in a open jar and hang it up high where they can smell it but can't get to it. I had a sounder of 6 hogs spend all night just below a jar filled with soured corn.

regular corn works fine for me. got some of the biggest raccoons I ever saw feeding. I get the hogs and deer to regular corn. I throw some around in different areas but it always leads to the feeder. they always find it.
