I think Nicki is a good hearted guy who really wants successful hunters and outside of his sales pitch and forgetting to mention on his site about quail outfitter is a bit out of touch with his property in Arcadia. The biggest issue I honestly believe is with the guide who resides near it and is to look after it daily, he tells Nicki the status and honestly I believe he is slacking as a ranch manager and could be replaced. I am sure that they will see this post and peoples positive and negative responses, making changes where they are needed.

Please I ask anyone who has a hunt booked shoot me a report, I only wish the best for any and all hunters out there as well as reputable outfitters.

Thanks for posting this report. This sounds very similar to a hunt I took in Texas in 98. It was supposed to be a high quality hog hunt but it was just a way for the outfitter to put hunters into empty stands after deer season had ended and line his own pockets with $$$. After 3 months of deer season all of the hogs had become very nocturnal and there was no way one was coming out of the thickets in daylight. The part about them telling you the timer jumped on the feeders is total BS. I have a feeder in my flight pen where I raise Pheasants and it has worked flawlessly for the last 3 years as long as I keep new batteries in it. My feeder is just a cheap rural king brand. If he is selling hunts he should be able to afford a decent feeder. Crooks like this is why I am very leary about booking another hunt. We hunted hogs in Arkansas with bay dogs and I personally think this is the only way to go. If there are hogs in the area the dogs will find them.
