Hunted Homosassa twice this weekend and saw lots of deer and turkey, but not one hog. I walked for over 4 hours and about 6-8 miles. Where are all the hogs?
Sunday morning I took my boat to the back marsh of the Chassahowitzka WMA and could not get to the woods. I was out for about 5 hours and only hunted about 1/2 hour in some super thick mud. Did see awesome fish and a massive gator. Them after I packed up all the guns , three hogs come walking up to the river and start drinking :eek . My guess would be a 200+ lb sow and two piglets. They acted like I was not there. My buddy did get a 110 lb sow in the same spot on Thursday. Looks like from now on I will be hunting the shore instead of the woods :gangsta .
