Ammo choice for hog hunting with .223?

Thank you guys. My barrel is 1x7 twist but in my town, I can get my hands on only light grain .223 🙁

I have few boxes of Remington UMC 55gr FMJ, a box of american eagle 50gr varmint, and gonna go purchase some federan M198 55gr and maybe 2 boxes of Hornady 75 gr BTHP from dick's and go to the range today to find out.

I used the Remington PSPs with good results. They do a pretty decent job. Still headshot 'em though....

This year I am going to try my new 300 Blackout with a 150 gr horandy soft point with 17 gr of H110 , I hope that will do the job

that sounds like your getting your cake and eating it too Panda. the AR platform with a larger diam/heavier bullet and is stingy with the powder, what's not to like. the 300 is a 30 caliber?
