I use the remington 55gr psp for .223 and i kill 2 to 5 a weeked on the ranch's and drop them right there every time and i use the same in my 22-250 55gr psp

if you could place the shot exactly where you want each and every time you could use a 22 lr. unfortunately in the real world shart happens. I like my 22 mag when i'm safe and off the ground and shots won't be too far, but I will have a large bore pistol as a backup.

ted i used the balliistic tip bullet when it first came out and it would drop deer quickly. the only problem was extensive meat damage. i switched to a psp and still got quick kills and minimal meat damage. then i changed the location of impact to the neck area, high or low it doesn't matter DRT. i bet tracking a deer and wrestling it down by the antlers was intense.
like i said ther are exceptions to the 22 caliber and shot placement is very important.
