Wife and I got invited by a good friend to hunt with them Labor Day up in Astor just south of Lake George. Was on the water by 5:30 pm and had this one in the boat by 7:30. Took roughly 20 minutes to get him in the boat, measured 9'2". We spent the next 3 hours trying to locate one at least this big, came close once or twice but ended up killing the trolling motor batteries and called it a night.
