Whats up with Orange Lake? Is the alligator hunting there harder or more restrictions?
I saw on myfwc that theres alot of alligator tags left for all 4 weeks.
Also, Do you think hunting the 4th week is worth it? Im afraid they may be over pressured by then?

I was thinking the same thing, I herd there were going to be no air boats this year. I may of herd wrong but that's what I was told by a friend .
I hunted there 2 week last year on Orange lake and harvested my 2 gator's first night out 7 1/2 and 6 1/2 , missed 2 times but seen not counting the dinks i seen 30 gator's with 2 of them being big boys over 8 foot .

I think Orange Lake is one of those they passed an ordinance limiting airboats after dark, something like that. Not sure of the details or if it actually passed, but I remember a few people on here voicing strong opinions against it!
draining? do you have a link to something ? why wouldn't Florida fish and game have some sort of press release
Well that would explain the large amount of tags available for that lake.
