hey guys,,, just a lil update on Kobe's condition
Things aren't really looking good,,,,,,,,,,,, Hate to say it, but All Childrens essentially gave up on him,,,,,,, they really wanted my niece to unplug the ventilator,,,, She said she is just not ready to let him go,,,,, and could not do it, especially during the holidays. So they put a trache in, so he can be on the ventilator for however long he needs to be. On Monday they shipped him back up to Arnold Palmers, plan was for him to be there for maybe a few weeks, while Arnold Palmers makes the decision on whether to let him come home and be under home care. As a matter of fact, I spent Tuesday moving them to a new place that will be more wheelchair accessible for Kobe. During these few weeks, they are going to be giving my niece, and her sister ( who has essentially dedicated her life to helping with Kobe since he was diagnosed 4 years ago) , giving them training on how to care for Kobe, set up his room with a hospital bed, and all the necessary medical equipment and such.
Well now Today, We get another round of bad news. He was all cleared down at All Childrens as far as the transplant and things are concerned. Now bam, today he is suffering from, I think the term is "graft verses host",, essentially, the donor cells are attacking his organs again, so now we really don't know what will happen.
So once again, thank you all for those prayers and thoughts, and please keep them coming

That is really terrible. As a parent i can't imagine seeing my child suffer like that. It would be very difficult, if not impossible for me to "unplug" anything. i don't think I could go on without one of my little girls.
My thoughts and prayers are with the boy and his family. 😥
