your prayers and thoughts for a lil boy, please

Hey, alot of you guys know me as dawgg , and I have written about My nephew on that other forum before. I am going to do a little here also, so please bear with me.

hey all, I have been on a few times before about my nephew Kobe,
Things have been pretty stable for him since his bone marrow transplant on the 7th of Oct. The normal ups and downs, nothing unexpected though. Well as he neared the 30 day mark, which is when they can really tell if his body is going to except the transplant, or to reject it, they did the tests and found his body was accepting the new cells without a problem. Only problem was that he was starting to develop other problems they couldnt really get a handle on. After more tests they have discovered that something very rare is happening. The donor cells are starting to attack his organs and cause severe damage. Its getting extremely bad, and he is quite possibly going into liver and kidney failure. He is now in near critical condition. My neice had to leave him today and come home to take care of some things concerning her lease on her home and a call she got from the HR department of her job tellin her they cant hold her job much longer and she needs to give an answer on when she can return to work,( they HR lady was a real arrogant ,rude, uhmm witch to her, with no compassion) and when she was here she gets a call from the hospital,,,,,,,,, Kobe has gotten worse and more test result are in, and they are a 4 on some scale and thats about the worst level it can be, right on the border of completely fatal, so now they need to do something with this situation immediately, most likely a liver transplant,,,, maybe even kidney,, so please one more round of prayers for this little boy, he really needs it and no way deserves to have to go thru this.

Please guys, one more round,,,,,,,,,,, lil kobe is really needing your prayers and any good thoughts you can send his way. Since my last update things have become drastically worse,,,,,,,,, he weathered out the liver problems,,,,,, since then, its been found he has developed severe brain damage, they say not from the radiation, but cumalitive from all chemo and other drugs, he has gone downhill fast,. He went in in september, a 6 year old with the most upbeat and outgoung personality,with the mentality of a 10 year old, and is now essentially a 10 month old, loss of all basic motor skills, and all., 2 weeks ago they were saying he may never regain to who he was,but will be maybe a little slow, but will haveto go to an inpatient rehab and therapy center for maybe 6 months after he can finally leave the hospital., He has lost so much weight and body mass, they had to put him on a feeding tube. On Tuesday they started to do extra feeds on him to try and get his weight back up. they were doin an extra about 2 am weds. and he ended up puking and then swallowing it, he almost drown on his own vomit and they had to ventilate him. he has been on the ventilator since. they did another MRI this morn. that they had scheduled for weds. to check the progression of the damage to his brain. they got the results this afternoon, and are tellin my neice that the damage is getting worse, has now extended from just the white matter, to the brain stem, and say he may never get better, and are lightly suggesting that she turn off the ventilator. So please this little boy needs all the help he can get, send those prayers and good thoughts, we really need a christmas miracle.
