I'm starting a AR build for a wounded warrior. So far I have got a spikes upper receiver with no BCG, barrel and hand guard. I got all this from a guy at work for $50. I also have pistol grip and charging handle. If any of y'all have any extra parts you would like to donate or sell please let me know. I'm also getting a deal on a ceracote job on it when finished. He doesn't know anything about this, its going to be a total surprise to him. Thanks in advance for any help in parts that may be layin around that need a good home.

My masonic lodge donates twice a month to wounded warriers. Good cause!

Well I gave it to him on Christmas day. It was a great moment. He was very stunned to say the least. First time I seen a 40 y/o man cry and was happy. Pic to follow as soon as I can get them to upload. :flageagle

That sounds great, bellyacher! Looking forward to seeing the picture. Without betraying any confidence, can you tell us about the man you built the rifle for?

Danny was in the USMC for 17yrs. The only reason he is not still in he medically discharged due to his injuries. He served 3 tours as a D.I.. He started his deployments during the Kuwait war all the way thru until he returned from Iraq for the last time on the USS Enterprize on its last trip also. He was retired as a GySgt
