Well as many might already know I had the night from hell with this toothache. I really didn't feel like going to the woods this morning with my mouth feeling like it had been in a fight with a baseball bat. But Thanksgiving morning I had gone and put up a stand for my daughter to hunt Sunday. This morning I dropped her off at the stand location so she could walk into the stand and not have so far to walk. As I was climbing into my stand I noticed a hog walking up on my right. Having just got into my stand I didn't try to shoot it I just let it walk off. I had been in my stand for about an hour and a half when My daughter text me and sent several pictures of does feeding around the stand. I asked her how many of them there was and she replied 3 that she could see but there was one in behind her that she couldn't see. After about 2 minutes I heard her shoot and it startled me pretty good. She replied back pretty quick and said that she had shot a good buck. I told her that I was on my way and we would look for it. When I got there she had already walked out of the woods and I could tell that she was excited. We went back to the stand and I got her to show me where she has shot the deer and asked her which way it ran off. After a short trail and several intense moments we walked up the biggest buck to date for her. There is no pleasure in a toothache but for a few minutes I forgot all about it.
Well done congratulations
Bossman,
Congratulations, that's a mighty "purty" daughter with a mighty fine buck! Enjoyed the account of the hunt and do hope you get that tooth ache taken care of.
