wild dogs

i have run into a few rogue dogs that have been left or lost in the woods. they seemed to have gone feral, were skinny and aggresive. i will not get bit by a dog, the dog will go down. a few years ago a rabid dog showed up on my grampas property here in dover, and that was definitely an experience. the neighbors in grampas trailer park were afraid to go outside, and they had all called animal control who said they would not come out....all dogs act like that they were told. i called and told them somebody come get this dog or i am going to shoot it, it got results. the dog had to be put down.
