Because she could get stung by a wasp again. Yep. 2 weeks ago my wife was stung by a wasp on her upper lip and it swelled to unbelievable proportions. 3 weeks before she was stung on the hand and was not a major issue.
She finally just went back to work about a month ago at a horse farm where they raise andalusions, owned by a local Dr. She has amazing talent with horses and is a super hard worker so there could be no other reason for the let go. In fact the Dr. is the one who gave her the antibiotics for and prednizone for the sting.
The last 2 weeks they have been on her to come back in the eves to put out horses for the night. When she was hired she made it clear of the hours that she could work and those did not include eves. We have 2 kids and it is a 25 minute ride. I think that this is the reason. Could they not have attempted to kill all of the wasp that they could, which were holed up in the gates? Only makes sense to me. I have to think that the sting thing was just a BS reason.
I know this is a right to work/fire state but come on. Sorry but I had to vent and look for any recourse responses.....any?

I am writing a rough draft for her to have said employer sign stating reasons for termination...we see if they sign it. I'm thinking there may be some lines crossed due to the fact she informed the employer of an injury at the work place. No accident report was filed. It would be great for her to have her job back if they realize the mistake they made.
That really sucks! I'm not sure i would want my job back cause i would always be looking over my shoulder waiting to get fire again...Life too short to worry weather today is the day your going to get fired!
