still apples and oranges if a quad/trailer and such that I don't have is needed. plus if I put it at 4 feet it might be at water level now. plus I need to be up at least 12' to see where I need to see in this case. there are 2 shooting boxes on the property already and the floor carpets are always wet and if not designed just right (for a fat azz) they can be difficult to get in/out, the windows not the right height etc. but I might consider one in another area if I had permission and could get to it with my truck. the ladder stand is very inconspicuous and can't see it from any of the pastures/fields. I'm sure they are very nice in the cold and hard rain.
