when all the exposed metal is wrapped in foam and sides are cloth there is less noise than if you bump your gun into a hard sided box stand. plus the ladder stand is 50-100 lbs tops. sure a box stand is bigger, will hold more people and better in bad weather but it's like comparing apples and oranges. pretty sure theres no way I could have put up a box stand by myself. I'd rather have a big box stand also and a rolls royce instead of a ford.
who cares about noise i be just like a Buck in RUT. The bolts wont hold the stand together. A whole new meaning for TREE SHAKER.
yeah and imagine if there was someone else up there with you. lol. shouldn't have let him see that video.

Whos says they have to be elevated? I think most of ours are on 4' legs (Just enough that you aren't really shootin on the level). Don't forget the carpet on the floors to quieten them down more and ours are all treated wood. drag them already fully contructed in with a 4 wheeler and a trailer, unhook trailer, and pull it up with the 4 wheeler or tractor. Anchor and camo. Improvising is key!
BTW there's more than a couple women I'd like to take in the stands.. preferrably more than 1 at a time :clap
