If there was a piece of land that a major corp bought that used to be a ranch and in the future will be strip mined and you had some land that adjoined it you could hunt on, would you hunt on the mine land as well? Honestly this is a situation a friend of mine is in,he hunted the land all last season and never seen a soul,it's definitly not hunted anymore and there's zero human activity on the land.Very tempting.

I'm not hunting it,I'd be paranoid as hell.He's a kid your age I think 22.I know the laws,just curious what others would do in this situation.My inlaws have 18 acres in Mo that is landlocked and there was at least 100 other acres that adjoined it.The owners of that land were gone and forgotten,I hunted the he77 out of it 15 years ago.Then I found out a farmer bought it for 300.00 an acre,I didn't even know it was for sale or we would have bought it.
i would just stay off of it completely. Dont want no one trespassin on my stuff so im not gonna go on someone elses land..JMO :toast
