you need to go back and look at your attachment a little more ,i did, there are several diffrent types,look a little deeper,plus deer and turkey eat the berries and new shoots,do some more homework,plums grow south fl.,crabapples never seen one in 55 yrs in fl.,gallberry is also called inkberry,and i should say central fl. cracker.

the leafs wrong
only on typ grows in south fl the northern gall berries generally is bigger but most have a thorn type leafe

Yes i found plums in tiger bay central fl. The little black-purple gall berries are all over.

live oak is just outside the range of the crabapple.

I am in no way an expert but i like to know the exact type it is.

I have one hanging over my back fence up at camp. I hate that thing. I trim it 2x a year and it drops them all over my pump house and ATV trailer. I wish the neighbor would cut it down

Yep, I would say you are correct based on the photos I saw. I didn't see anything where deer would eat them. They articles I read said they could be used for jelly though. They're really small though. About the size of a blueberry.
