Sorry folks, but I just need to vent a little bit. I've worked my azz off all of my life trying to make the best of things that I can. After returning home from Iraq in 04 I paved my driveway and had a custom gate installed with an opener and all of the works. Trying my best to live like up standing Americans. It all looked good with 4 brick collums with lights on all of the post. It looked great for a long time with only a once and a while change of the photo cell for the lights on the collums. Well this Last July a little afternoon thunder storm lightinghit the gate and fried it. Thank goodness for homeowners insurance after a 1k deductable the insurance paided the $5,995.00 gate repair. All of this happen "last week" living with a new opener and looking good again only to have some dumb azz drunk drive through my gate last night. I got up at 4:30 this morning to get ready to go hunting for opening morning of Black powder when I heard an air horn blow outside and knew right off the bat what it was a Deputy sheriff outside trying to get someone to come outside to file a report due to some eye wittness that said that they saw someone drive through my gate. All that I can say is that I'm gald that I didn't wake up to someone driving through my gate cause bullets would have flown.
