That's friggin insane. 17 TIMES!!! What a waste of ammo. And the smell couldn't have been very good either with that many gut shots.

That deputy must be a city-slicker whose idea of 'roughing it' is when room service is late!!! I know a LOT of cops who could have dispatched that poor animal with one shot- without advice from HQ!!! Then the (good) meat would have gone to a shelter!

I guess he never watched a western movie where the cowboy had to shoot his horse,, he always aimed for the head not a gut shot

Gun Laws are only for folks who Obey the Law..Criminals don't give a HOOT
