Either way, tax season sucks even worse in Canada, it's not bad enough we pay 15% on any purchase or service and by service I mean on everything you can imagine, we also have to pay Provincial (State to you US guys and gals) and Federal taxes. For the past 10 years I have had to pay 45% of my gross wages to taxes plus we are are now paying $5.90 a gallon for gas, smokes (I do not smoke, thank goodness) are almost $12.00 for a pack of 25, beer is $22.00 for a 12 pack....it's all taxes which is ridiculous. I hate the tax man if you haven't noticed.
But don't you just love getting all that "free" health care and other entitlements?
The way I figure it, paying 60% of my gross income for health care and other entitlements is not worth it. I could buy health care a heck of a lot cheaper and have better benefits. As an example, in regards to our "free" health care if we have an emergency and have to go to the hospital, such as a fractured bone, we can wait up to 4-6 hours to see a doctor. Our health care is far from free and there is far too much useless spending you wouldn't believe it.
I just wish that would convince the "liberturds". All they want is free but they forget that SOMEONE has to pay for it and usually its the poor working stiffs. And what gets me is that the knuckleheads in DC are convinced that if they tax the crap out of the folks that are actually working and paying taxes, that they'll be able to take care of the other 99% of the worthless leeches that don't. What they forget is that those folks that are working are paying their salaries too!! If they continue to tax them into the poorhouse then they won't get paid...it just doesn't make any sense anymore... All I can say is this. The Lord has to come back soon. I'm ready to go home... :gba
