I watched a show on History channel last night about military snipers. The were detailing one sniper who made a kill at a distance of 1 MILE with a Tac 50. He shot thru a block wall and took out three taliban in 1 shot.
Then if that wasn't good enough, Rob Furlong (Canadian special forces) made a confirmed kill in Afganistan at 1.5 miles. KIlled him on the third shot.Longest confirmed kill in history.

watched the same thing myself last night.
my boss was telling me about this show today while we were eating breakfast. he said they shot at half a mile at a silhouette target and was off mark with the first shot, made an adjustment on second as was dead on and then did 5 rapid shots and hit 4 center mass and one just off center mass. thats a really cool science.
Their scopes are more complex than my computer
