Yep, done dozens and dozens of them. I don't package mine that way anymore because it is wasteful for my family. Dad and I always smoked hams for get togethers and holidays. I injected it full of creole butter marinade, put a dry rub on outside and slow smoked with oak wood. The key is a low heat around 200 deg for a long time and keep it moist. I would layer the outside in bacon and spray every 30 minutes with apple juice
