My daughter's boyfriend is from Punta Gorda, and spent most of his life in Florida. He has had all kinds of allergies, every pollen season was torture. He took Claritin and got shots, you name it, just trying to control it. He met a guy at his church who sells organic raw milk from local cows, and started drinking it every day. He stopped taking all his allergy meds, and says he never felt better. only draw back is if he travels somewhere and can't get the milk, within a couple of days the allergies may come back some. I've heard that raw honey from local hives can also have a beneficial effect on allergies.
I thank God I have never been plagued by allergies, seeing others suffer with them makes me feel blessed. I just wish sometimes I had been born rich instead of so good-looking!
