I was sitting under it last night with a stiff rum and coke. It was 31 at camp this morning. Saw 4 does yesterday. Ain't seen nothing today. One of the guys at camp popped a 9 this morning. Said it was chasing a doe. Neck wasn't too swelled up and hocks weren't bad. Sounds like they're cruising and it should be getting good in the next couple weeks. Gonna sit the rest of the day.

29 deg when I woke up...it was quiet sitting under the white oaks this morning and early afternoon...jumped a couple big nanny does late afternoon...I would like to believe I let them walk...in all reality...probably not fast enough to hit them on the bounce...maybe next time..
Went to Green swamp today to check it out before Gen Gun, there were 2 guys cleaning a 130 lb hog... Can't wait Mr Lolo hope we do well this year

Sometimes just being in the woods is enough. :>) Gettin' a deer or hog is just icing on the cake in my opinion.
