Finally got an OU and was wondering how to properly maintain the stock and forearm. My other shotguns are workhorses and I don't pay a lot of attention to what I use. This one I want to make sure it's done right. Ruger's instructions or website didn't provide recommendations and didn't see anything helpful on YouTube. Any tips on how to properly care for it will be appreciated.

don't get any solvent on the wood, can damage finish. wipe wood with damp micro fiber cloth, then dry. use noots foot oil, mink oil or tru oil. wipe on, wipe off. use a silicone cloth to wipe down all metal after handling.
