Anyone know where can I buy whole fresh goat in that Tampa area? I've been buying goat meat from a specific Latin store, but thinking I can get a better deal buying whole and process myself.
There is a goat farm on US41 in Lutz/Land-0-lakes. It is just south of County line rd on the East side of the road. I say it's a goat farm...there is always 100-200 head out there. I have to assume they sell them there. I can't recall seeing a sign. I go by there all the time and will make sure to pay attention next time by there. Wouldn't mind having one myself

Thanks Al. My sister lives in Land-O-Lakes. I'll ask her to check the place. Let me know if you find more information. Been to a couple of places but they want to sell them as pets. Who wants a pet goat :)? You eat goats lol

There are a couple of small animal auctions in Plant City that run every Sat. They always sell goats of various sizes and breeds. You just pick you one out and bid on it. I used to raise goats and chickens and sell them there all the time but dont fool with it any more. If it interests you PM me and I can give ya the details , locations and all.
