Thats dangerous. One of your kids could have received an electrical shock.

YOu need to get some of your money back from the previous owner.

You never know what else is wrong now once you find nonstandard wiring.

my float is on the pump. really simple just dig. My pump came with a 15 foot cord built in. All I have to do is plug it into the outlet in the box on the side of the house. The last pump was just under 300. Been in this house for 15 years.

really flooring is harder

Its all fixed now! I have a septic alarm it all ties into with a piggyback float switch.
