Went to the kids livestock sale last night at the county fair up here and had an awesone time. They fed all the buyers steak and pork tenderloins with all the fixin's and all the beer you could drink.Me and my wifes cousin ended up buying a 275 lb hog. Let me tell you,they don't let your cup get low. My cousin also ended up buying a rabbit,and I about bought a steer,prolly would have if I had a way to get it home. They were from the kids we know up here,and it's all about them and the FFA and 4H.
It was so good I'm still feeling the goodness in my head.

Ah....the sale barn days. That's the first time I've heard someone talk about a salebarn since I moved down here from the cornfields. :clap

Ain't to sure,my cousin said she'll try and bring my half down with her in Sept. somehow. My wife was real big into raising hogs and cows and showing them when she was a kid. I love the mid-west,this is my home away from home. Lot's of corn and bean fields and big bucks.
