Today I made an adventure to the east coast. A friend of mine goes to St. Augestine a lot to throw a cast net for mullet and normally comes back with a cooler full. We had been talking a lot about wanting to go to catch some roe mullet, so we knew that the tide would be high this morning at 7:11 AM and would be just right for a morning throw. I got up at 3:00 this morning so I could be at his house by 4:30 and make it to the bridge befor daylight. We made it to the bridge at 5:45 got the spot on the bridge where we wanted (the honey hole). Daylight cameand we waited, and waited only to see nothing. We stood there for 4 hours and didn't see the first mullet. We might not have caught anything today but there is always next time but our time is getting short to find the roe. Made it back home by noon only to go hunting this afternoon with no shooters. although I did see a 4 point cruising by just not big enough for me to shoot. So basically I went coast to coast all day and just burnt gas.

Gulf mullet tastes better to me. But any is better than none.

Sorry for the late reply. Aucilla river right at the Mandalay boat ramp at night. We snatch hooked them and they were in there by the thousands. It took me and a buddy around 40 mins to catch 50. The only bad news is they haven't been back in the river since then with the temp higher and the rain we received.
