Working on a new feeder to replace the gravity feeder.
Making a bump feeder. 5 gallon bucket with pole hanging from it. I made some test. I find i can get about 1-8 pieces of corn roughly with a bump. How long will the bucket keep corn?

Hanging it high for deer only no bear around.

Any one use a bump feeders any suggestions.

Use to use them in Ga....they worked great...ours were a little different...used piece of 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe hanging down touching the ground,,,the deer would move the pipe and corn would come out....worked great until the squirrels would chew through the bucket....and they always did.

even our spinners have to all be steel, otherwise, squirrels, raccoons, whatever chew holes, water gets in....but other than that,,they worked pretty good for a while

5 gallon bucket
drill a 1" hole in bottom
Put a feeder funnel over hole and screw to bucket
use a piece of 3/4" PVC and a "T" to hold the pipe inside bucket. Run pipe thru bucket.
Use a plastic coffee can lid, slit a "x" in the middle of it and slide it over the pipe up to about 1" below the funnel. That gives the place for the corn to collect on instead of just falling out
Raise the bottom of the pipe to 40" high. Hogs can't reach it but deer can reach it just fine
