Duck dynasty is the best show on tv

I like that redneck vacation show. We're they're on vacation in Scotland. Pretty commical
Sometimes we can relate to the characters in some of these outdoor reality shows, but to real outdoor folks, it's quite easy to see through all the staged scenes and recognize words or terms that are not being used in the right context. All the life and death issues that could happen if such and such doesn't happen, and all the while a camera crew is right there within a arm's reach. If you like 'em great, if you don't like 'em, thank goodness for the remote! Usually one lap is enough for me. I do agree with kc45's evaluation of Swamp People and the work ethic of some of those fine cajuns. And then there is the issue of an ol' .22 bolt action that's laying on the floor in the back seat of my truck, under some tools and ropes that I might need to introduce to an oily rag! Treefarmer

I would have to agree. At least they know they're cutting up and acting foolish. Anyow, I don't like Swamp People or the Mountain Men shows however I do dig the scenery. I think it's all just a bunch of people with bad manners trying to look good for the camera and make some $$ in the process. Too much stupid made up drama for my taste. Actually, the way they make it look so easy in the woods or swamps makes me think that somehow somebody is going to get killed trying to imitate, all the while not thinking that these folks have a camera crew and paramedics waiting off camera. Even the dude in Alsaka in his "remote" location. The only authentic show I've seen to date about surviving in the wild is Survivor Man. Now there was a show worth watching. It's a shame he's not doing it anymore.
My 2 cents... :tung
Ill be honest.. the guy who weighs those gators must have a lazy eye and a lazy scale to match.. Cause 800 lbs of dead weight aint getting lifted up with one hand or with one person.
