Bring back the cold.
Sent from my killphone.
I will take it !was up in n.d. in my air force days seen enough to last a life time!
"Why not Minot" or Grand Forks? Did you work the flightline?
Only place I've ever lived where it was really cold all winter was Osan AB, Rep of Korea in '87-'88. Was a light year for snow, but working outside on night shift was not often pleasant!
I did Fort Drum NY from 95-97 in the 10th Mountain Division, cold cold cold, our 3rd BDE was in Alaska and they would come to do Artic Training at Drum because the winters were more severe in Northern NY, than Alaska or so they claimed.... Morning Physical Training (PT) was usually snow shoeing, cross country skiing (if we had enough snow) or running the ice covered roads bundled up with just your eye balls poking out.... Other than that it was a great tour, best Army facilities, buildings, offices, gyms, base support, etc. I experienced in my 22 years of service, also great hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, outdoors, sportsmans club (Trap and Skeet), and a State of NY/Federal co-sponsored Ring Neck Pheasant Stocking Program on base. Awesome duty for the outdoorsman.
The coldest I been in - This was on vacation 29 below 0. Not bad inside, not bad on mix drinks, set it out side on the hand rail for a minuet and its re iced.
oh and that was Wisconsin along time ago
Yea it was cold here at the house too! Thats what I get for fishing in the cold I guess.
