Ok I am trying to sell my F-250. This truck was my dads and has basically been sitting since he died 3+ years ago. I crank it up and drive it once in a blue moon just to keep it going. I have someone interested in it and have been tinkering and cleaning it a bit the last few days.

So I go out there just now to go put a few $$ of gas in it and the damn windshield wipers are not working. If you push it in for the washer, the water sprays out, but wipers will not turn on. I pulled the fuse and put a new one in it. No luck.

So My guess is the motor is just frozen up somehow. Any idea how to unfreeze it? I do remember the last time I drove it that they did work, as I remember making a mental note I needed wiper blades. Can't see how a motor could just die from the truck sitting. So is there an easy way to maybe enfreeze the motor? Maybe whack the crap out of it with a wrench or something?

try groundin the motor to the fire wall of the truck. scrape both spots clean first where you touch the wires. wiper motors are famous for grounds just goin bad. then if that dont work ground the motor to it self if still nothin its broke.

I'd say bad switch or connection probably. Try to turn the switch on and use a tester to see if the motor is getting voltage.
