After thirty two years with the state I finally retired. During my employment I got first hand knowledge of how state biologist make a living. Not all but some I observed will take a problem and milk every cent of a grant they can knowing what the solution is from the beginning. Take for instance the python and anaconda problem in south Florida. There are special hunts and constant studies. Back in the 1960's in Indiana there was a plague of crows devastating farmers crops, a short study was made and a bounty imposed on the crows. In a short period of time the crow population was back to normal. Why can't this be applied to the exotics here instead of blowing al this money on search and research?
we had a hunt but did not really accomplish the mission. got a few but not what they thought what was going happen.

Your right "A" hunt what they need is an open season with a bounty then your looking at helping.
