would there be bite marks on the kid if the snake did it? or do you think if the snake did it that because the kid was sleeping it didn't have to bite or hold on with its mouth? either way, the guy is an idiot. if his story of leaving it in an unlocked cage after it escaped more than once is true, he is a complete dumb :ahole: . seriously. snake or not, it always seems to be the womans live in boyfriend that is responsible. that snake did look awfully skinny for as long as it was.
its definately all suspect

As far as the bite marks go. If I was to hold a snake by the neck and push it's face on you it would open it's mouth and leave marks.
and you would think it would have been brused were snake squeezed it. I had a 8" redtail boa and it hit me once and was not pretty. Also very strong dont think the average person could have gotten it off if it was intent.maybe wrong whay ya think Bodysnatcher on how strong they are?
I have a couple of girls that are in the 8 to 9 foot range and yes thay have the power to take out a full grow man. Even a snake that under weight would be able to snap a 2 year old's neck and leave massive brusing. Neither of was listed in the ME report.
We call baby's staple guns. My first bite came from a 8ft. burm. And I will be the first one to say it was my fault, I got lazy during feeding.
