Great job. How tall are most of the palms? I have a spot like that but palms are 6-8' tall for the most part and not sure how hard it would be to see the deer and if they would even use that area.

The palmettos are 6'+ for the most part the palmettos are here and there with 3' brush in between. The deer will slip thru and jump over what they can. If you get high enough you can see down in them. The deer will eat the palmetto berries when they are in and will be a good place to hunt.

Well today was a lot colder and I believe caused the deer to move well. This morning I went back to the same place that I hunted and killed the 6 point yesterday. I sat from 5:30-11:00 and saw 9 different deer, all does and yearlings. This afternoon I decided to use the Ghost blind and hunt near the creek. around 5:30 I heard something running thru the woods, since I am left handed primarily and the noise was coming from the left I had to switch hands and shoot right handed. I had barely got the gun switched to the right hand when I saw a doe running. Shortly behind her ran a buck, with only a split moment I drew down and shot. I made a heart shot and he only ran 40 yards. (5 point)
