you should be able to shoot within a week or 2 but don't try to drag one out or any strenuous climbing/hiking. just like I'm not supposed to lift over 15 lbs. topped off my feeder with 100 #'s of corn today and have pics of a small 6pt hitting it every day for 5 days between 8:30-9am, it's gonna be the landowners wifes first deer.

Did that 2 years ago. Wasn't any fun at all. Just listen to the docs and take it easy. I was hunting a month later. Just had to be more careful.
