Thanks, guys. It means a lot, and I'll keep you updated on how he's doing. We know whatever happens is God's will, and we'll give Him the glory however it turns out.

First I want to thank God and give Him the glory for all the blessings He provides. Of course, it's a lot easier to do when the news is good!

Dad got a good report today. His CT and bone scan were negative, no sign of the cancer spreading. Looks like it is still in the prostate, which is actually good news, since it is most treatable that way. He'll probably have surgery, radiation, or a combination. For those who know about such things, he has Prostatic Adenocarcinoma.

I thank you all for the prayers and concern, as I think it makes all the difference in the world, both for my Dad's results and the peace of mind it affords those worried about him. In Matthew 18:19, Jesus told us,"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.". I believe that applies to the prayers of all believers, even if they are agreeing across the internet. Once again God has proven to be true to His Word, and the test results are good because of His blessings. Had the results been bad, I would still praise God for His goodness and blessings, as all things happen to fulfill His will, and just because I don't understand how it all works together, I trust the Lord.

God has already used this situation to His glory, to remind me of why I place my faith in Him and how faithful He is, even when I am not.

I would appreciate it if you could continue to remember my dad in your prayers as he goes through treatment. You guys are a real blessing, and I am proud to know you all. Even nachogrande!
