Usually when your phone rings late it is never good news. I got one of those calls last night from my cousin. His brother -my other cousin -died suddenly and unexpectedly of a massive heart attack. I have to assume it was what they call the "widow maker" from what he desribed. He leaves behind a wife and 2 kids. Only 50 years old
I wasn't super close to him but we did keep in contact. As kids we hunted and fished together as a family practically every weekend.? Makes you realize how short life is and take nothing for granted..

Praying the Lord will comfort you and your cousin's family through a difficult time. You are quite correct when you said "...how short life is and take nothing for granted." We each need to be prepared to face this, as there are no promises of tomorrow.

Prayers on the way.
I agree with treefarmer, we never know when the Lord will call us home. The point is, always be ready. And by being ready I mean, know personally who your Savior is. You and family are in my prayers brother.
