I'm sitting here in my office with the lights going off like I'm in a 70's disco. My power has been surging for over 3 weeks now and I can't seem to get them to fix :crap: .
1st time they come and tell my secretary that their wiring is fine and that it must be an internal problem. 🙄 Now keep in mind that I've been in the business 27 years and checked my end long before we called them.
Next time they come and I explain to the guy what's going on and he tries the same :crap: but I get here before he can leave and proceed to show him that the problem is either at the weatherhead or at the transformer. After talking to his supervisor he decides that he needs to check his wire at the pole. Sure enough, they've got a loose connection at the primary on the pole. He repairs that and it seems fine.......for 30 min. :death .
Get them to come back a few days later and same story......it must be internal.....I get back to the office in time to make them go back to the meter and test the voltage for more than 10 seconds. Low and behold they miraculously see that the voltage is fluctuating by 40 - 50 volts here and there. They decide to check the splice at the weatherhead and find the wires 1/2 melted. !/2 hr. later and they leave and it seems fine.........for 30 min........... :death
Been trying to get an appointment since last week and no call back. My secretary decided she needed the day off so as I'm sitting here with the lights flickering I decided I'd make the appointment. I call and explain the situation in a calm manner 🙄 . After telling her that this has been going on for 3 weeks and I need it fixed immediately she tells me that this is the 1st report they've had. :taz . I go into detail and THEN she finds the other reports. I explain that I had to send the office home due to the power issue and give her my cell # to make sure I get 10 min. notice and I can meet the crew here. Take off to an estimate at 10:45. I get back at 11:30 and the guy in the office next door tells me that FPL was here and left. They walked around to the service and tested the voltage and left. Now I'm :taz :taz and I want someone's :ahole . I call and am told that there was no problem and the voltage tested fine. After explaining that I wanted a call so I could be here they tell me they're sorry for not calling. :taz I get a supervisor on the phone and he tells me that it has been referred to they're Power Quality division and I have to wait for them to call me to proceed to the next step.
Fixin to go :2guns someones ass. Sorry about the rant but I'm just fed up with the :ahole that just try to collect a paycheck and don't do :crap: Doug
