Have the same problem with my family. I always tell them at least an hour or more before I really want them to be there. I think I'm going to look for digital watches with alarms for the the whole family and spend a day showing them how to set them. Might get the point across w/o actually saying "Hey. What the heck is yall's problem? Can you not tell time?"

I can understand things happen and folks get held up now and then, but when it's EVERY STINKIN' TIME, well, that's just disrespectful. Especially in this day and age when they don't call to let you know they're running late. No excuse. I'd sure minimize the number of times I had to invite them for anything.

My wifes side of the family has a habit of throwing b-day parties at other peoples houses (family, friends) and then showing up late to their own party, anniversary, etc!! I can feel for you. I am finally over it, when i throw a party I deliver the food when promised and then they eat it cold. Keeps me from getting stressed out and I can eat when I want to.
