A bunch of my cousins are having a "guy's weekend" up in Sopchoppy, where the goal is to eat more of Appalachicola's best than they ate the year before. I was supposed to go, but had to go to West Palm to check my daughter's car.
Gary, there are 2 places on US 98 west of Perry. One is called Deal's oyster house, and the other is Revell's seafood. They guys in the camp have gotten them at both places over the last 3 years and swear by them
They get them somewhere there in Sopchoppy near where they camp. Most of them live up in that area, over near Blountstown, Weewahitchka, etc. All them places up in the big bend area get good oysters.
