I have been eating them here in Panama city beach and I'm not dead yet, and no oil sheen in the potty. :eek

Heck I don't know, they look clear to me . I just buy them and eat em.

I don't eat raw anymore since about 2004, just my luck to be the one to get the deadly one...OH well and I loved them soooo much!

I dont eat them raw anymore either. Steamed is the way I go, and them I eat them like raw, crackers, tabasco, horseradish, and cocktail sauce.
I have been getting them from st. pete ale house who from what I understand is getting them from cheaspeake. Or I get them from Crabby bills and I think they are apalacola but not sure. I know the stone crabs claws they are getting are local, and they are still $$$$ but yummy~!
