holy crap that hurt. i always wondered how often something like that could happen streer wrastlin, i know the horns arent as sharp, but something similar has had to have happened many times while bailin off a horse to throw a steer...

fail. knowing whats gonna happen almost makes it harder to watch.
Been around rodeo almost all my life, and I've never seen a steer wrestler seriously gored. The ones that have been "stuck" didn't have any business in the arena. Mostly it ends up being the clowns that get the pointy end of the bulls. PRCA has real close rules on horns for steer wrestling. Besides, most of em where kevlar vests.
