Dayum cant say ive ever saw a f150 bend like that musta been hit hard --- Glad ya ok !!!!

My dad had almost the same exact truck(can't remember the exact year). He sold it to a friend of his, and that friend wrecked it like 4 days after he bought it from dad. He slammed on brakes to avoid hitting a deer, and the guy behind him (driving an old school toyota small 4x4 pickup) rear ended him. It made the bed look like an accordion. An 8' bed was probably 2' long. Everyone in both vehicles were alive but hurt. They actually had to bayflite the driver of the toyo to Tampa(he was a friend of ours also)

Man oh man! Archer road can be a nasty spot given the wrong time. I assumed that you had stopped so someone could turn left. If that isn't the case you'll have to explain./color]

:saluting

Actually it was me turning left and she never touched her brakes or saw me I guess, hit the rear right so hard it launched me into the air to the other side of the road where I landed on the passenger side of the cab, came to a rest upside down and then she hit me again forcing her bumper frame nearly through my drivers side door.

As for me, I fared amazingly well with a few scratches and bruises. the truck did an incredible job of keeping me safe. I absolutely loved that Eddie Bauer and I hope to replace it with another but that's High hopes I fear.

Holy Smokes! That was a wild ride indeed! Good to hear you're doing well. Probably gonna be sore though but I guess that goes without saying. I'll keep my eyes open for a replacement truck. Those old Fords are tough and it looks like it protected you well, but I'll have to agree with Allen & Philip on where the real protection came from. Obviously God has more for you to do. :angel
