YOU GOTS TO BE KIDDING! they say these things happen in threes, watch out for your camp chairs. LOL
So I wake up LATE and head out to my lease on the 4 wheeler with the trailer attached. (Now I do this a lot so it's not like its something I've never done). So I go through the dirt roads and so on and get to my stand location. I park, get off, grab my bow and heat on foot to my stand. I sit for about 4 hours and just get tired and get down. So as I'm walking to my 4 wheeler I notice there's no trailer!! I'm like ok one of my buddies are messing with me trying to be funny. So I just smile and take a look up and down the dirt road ( thinking they might of just stashed it up the road. So I don't see it and I'm like.. Ok there trying way too hard. So I take another look at my 4 wheeler and notice that..... The whole ball receiver is totally missing from my 4 wheeler. 
So I'm like.. Dam someone must of stole it , but dam they wrenched the nut off also they weren't happy with just the trailer. Then I'm thinking ,, trespassers on my lease is very uncommon. I mean you have to drive far into the sticks to even get to the gate to my lease and you have to pass 5 other leases or more so most people won't drive that far anyway.
So I get on the 4 wheeler and start looking to see this thing in the road somewhere. I don't see it. I'm like .. I know I went through the gate with it cause when I locked the gate I hit my dam let on the trailer. So I keep riding and then I see it. In a ditch on the side of the road.
So I see that the ball assembly is still attached to the trailer. So I'm scratching my head thinking how I'm going to get this trailer back. So I make some phone calls and no one picks up. So I end just tiring rope to it and dragging it back to camp.
What happened was the dam bottom bolt that holds the assembly onto the 4 wheeler apparently came loose and fell out. I've had this receiver on for 2 years and never had a problem.
There's a bolt that goes in from the bottom that somehow came loose and fell out.
The part that scares me the most is that when I got to the stand in the morning and parked and got my bow, I didn't even notice the trailer was missing.
