By the way it was only the skin the hide that ended up being left out.
I wrecked a work trailer right after I started my business. I went down a dead end street with nowhere to turn around. I decided to unhook it, and spin it around by hand(had a wheel on the front jack).
It got away from me and it rolled in a ditch. I hooked it back up and decided to drive it out. For some reason it wouldn't move. I gave the f150 some gas and it went that time. Problem was, I couldn't tell with the high grass the rear tire was hung on a culvert. I snatched the axle right out of it. Had to get a tow truck to load it up and haul the scrap to my house. I will NEVER own a trailer shorter than 10' again. Too hard to back. I would rather back a 30' trailer than an 8 footer
man, i'd love for that to happen to me, i'v had my hitch stuck in my receiver for about two years, took the pin out and had my brothers f350 try to yank it out (lunched in full boost), ended up bending my frame a little.
Then again, I think I would rather it stay in if I were hauling stuff 😀
They will definitely seize in there. I have to switch hitches regularly to pull different stuff. I need the drop down for my work trailer, and the step up hitch to pull my big boat and ATV trailer. Plus I take the hitch off every weekend at camp and put in my carry all which I strap my game cart to. I have seen people have to cut off locking pins due to them seized up from dirt and rust
HAHA mine happened a few years back hauled my atv over to my buddy's dads house to move a small boat out of his back yard loaded my atv back up in the bed of my truck got to talking and had 1 or 2 beverages and took off for home. Was heading down the road when I look in the rearview mirror and see this lady honking and flashing her lights I thought this B**ch is crazy then it hit me that I was lookin at her through the rearview mirror and something was missing. OH S**T! I forgot to strap in the atv and when I took off from the traffic light the atv slid right out the back and was sitting at the light like someone parked it there. Luckily I was on a back road and no one got hurt and the law wasn't around.
