Same here and every time I stop for gas or something I go over it again just to make sure everything is tight.
Crock, you couldn't have made it any easier for someone to pull up and take off with the whole rig.......glad it was waiting on you when you got back!!
WoW I hate to laugh at what happened but you made my day LOL , Very glad nothing dammaged and no one hurt, the Hunting Gods were looking down on you
we had a boat ramp right next door where I grew up. it was steep and covered in algae at low tide. I lost track of how many people backed down it too fast, hit the algae and boat/trailer and car went into the drink. then plenty of people who thought the weight of the boat would hold it on the trailer and not use wratchet straps, only to have the boat fall onto the street pulling out of the parking lot. and wheels falling off trailers from wheel bearings not being greased. people getting smacked good by runaway winch handles, the ones that did what you did, didn't make it to the ramp. I think just about everyone who has a trailer has a story, so you are in good company.
Traffic was stopped on hwy 51 Saturday while a guy was getting his air boat put back on his trailer with a front end loader.
