thanks for the info and advice, not tryin to be an ass but im just not that into revolvers. idk why? just dont care much for them i guess. i'd like to have one, just not for an everyday carry, more for a target gun? if that makes any sense
I was that way for almost 15 years and let some beautiful revolvers slip through my fingers, one was a hammerless SW 940 stainless in 9MM I had with only 185 bucks in it, tried to replace it about 6 months ago and couldn't find one for less than 700. My point is try it you might just like it! My second and third choices using your guide lines would be a Sig 229 in 40 and a Sig 220 in 45!

Welcome man... I have also been looking for a deal on a Sig 220 in .45... Good luck, through the right dealer you can almost buy a new one for the price these jokers want for a used one... I want one of the Nickle 220's in .45 and that adds some more coin... Good luck!
Our gunsmiths friend is a gun dealer and he can get us whatever we want for 2 0bucks over cost. So we will see. Like I said he says that. U know how that goes
